History and tradition

About this celebration

Aksakovo's town celebration brings together church worship, motoring enthusiasts and sport. The municipal programme for 28 August 2022 began with a liturgy at tsarkvata „Sveto Uspenie Bogorodichno“, followed by a vintage car gathering in the centre. The afternoon was reserved for the local team's football match, while sportna Squareka „Tsentar“ hosted a children's celebration. Residents met in the centre that evening for a concert by Svet Georgiev and Orlin Pavlov, hosted by Ivan Cheshmedzhiev.
