History and tradition

About this celebration

The first yoghurt festival in Momchilovtsi opened in September 2015. It arose as a Bulgarian–Chinese initiative presenting Rhodope culture, local dairy traditions and Momchilovtsi as a tourist destination. The concept connects a contemporary cultural forum with local livelihoods and a recognisable local product.

Bulgarian original
