About this celebration

Bregovo's August fair days gather the local community around Golyama Bogoroditsa. The town status received in 1974 is another important part of its civic memory. BTA's report from the 2026 fair describes an opening outside the cultural centre, brass music and demonstrations of hajduk traditions by „Cheta Timoshki hayduti“. Children's games pass this local memory to the next generation, and a festive water blessing was scheduled for 15 August.
